About the building
GWP Space is a creative, learning and community hub in Stratford, East London, developed by Green Wings Project in collaboration with FeastFest Productions CIC.
GWP Space is a multi-purpose creative and cultural building arranged over five levels: basement, ground floor and three upper floors. The building has an approximate Gross Internal Area of 2,580 sq m (27,767 sq ft) on a site of approximately 0.26 acre. It provides a flexible combination of venues, artist studios, workshop spaces, offices, communal areas and supporting facilities, suitable for exhibitions, events, performances, creative production, artist-led workshops, residencies and cultural programmes.
Two particularly large spaces form the principal public-facing areas of GWP Space: a Ground Floor Venue and a Second Floor Venue. The smaller rooms throughout the building are designated as Studios, intended for use as artist studios, making spaces, workshop rooms, rehearsal spaces or project spaces.
